The wines created following ancient traditions of Vladimir Cristi were respected and highly appreciated by the Russian royal court almost two centuries ago. Chardonnay Barrel Fermented
The exquisite Chardonnay passed through a process of fermentation and batonage in an oak barrels. The wine is full-bodied, with exquisite aroma of flowers, peach, melon and with a rich taste structure, in which you can notice the shades of ripe apples, exotic fruits, vanilla.
VALUL LUI TRAIAN (Trajan’s Wall) is were Chateau Cristi vineyards are situated. It is a well aerated region, with light soils. The climate ensures exceptional conditions for vine growing, being influenced by the Black Sea and the woods of the Tigheci Hill. It is located between the two Trajan’s Walls that used to protect the Roman Empire from barbarians, on the same 47 parallel as famous Boudreaux region in France.
